I had to do some routine maintenance on my refrigerator this month, replace filters and such, so I downloaded the manual to make sure I ordered the correct parts. While browsing through the manual (because I get a kick out of how these things are written!) I landed on an entire page dedicated to “Normal Operating Sounds.” As the header describes, it is dedicated to helping you understand the unfamiliar sounds of your new refrigerator. I think my favorite is the “boiling or gurgling sound” you may hear from the Evaporator. What’s yours?
