While booking a recent vacation, I stumbled upon a hotel booking criteria used by Hotels.com that deserves to be acknowledged in the audio and acoustics communities: Soundproof rooms! Of course the real question is, how accurate is this criteria and who is rating it? I can say from personal experience that the room I booked in a very busy Mexican city during peak holiday travel, was indeed soundproof. It makes sense that these rooms are in high demand 🙂
I’m excited to continue testing this criteria when booking future trips!
